Below is a quick breakdown of the 2012 Penning & Sorting Point System. For a complete description, please check out the 2012 Rules or contact a board member.

- The first go in each division will receive a maximum of 15 points.  For example, 1st place – 15 points, 2nd place – 14 points, 3rd place – 13 points, etc.

- The second go in each division will receive a maximum of 10 points.

- The top 10 go (Open only) will receive a maximum of 5 points.

- The average for each division will be worth double points, for a maximum of 20 points going to the top 10 finishers.  For example, 1st place – 20 points, 2nd place – 18 points, 3rd place – 16 points.

- Riders will count points from his/her best 2 divisions (i.e. open, 11s, 8s, 5s).

- For each division, riders may be awarded points for his/her top two rides in each go and the average.   The rides do not need to be the same in each go/avg.

- Only the highest 5 shows will count towards year end points; therefore, a rider is able to drop his/her two worst shows.
